The collaboration between Qander and AddComm goes back more than twenty years. What started as print and delivery services has gradually evolved in line with Qander’s digital ambitions. Rob van Eerd has extensive experience with process automation and truly sees Flowize as a platform for designing processes intelligently. “For example, we built a website for our business partners that allows them to retrieve real-time interest rates through Flowize.”
The decision to run everything through Flowize was a deliberate one. “Our team is too small to manage multiple tools properly. Flowize is user-friendly and has a much gentler learning curve than other platforms. That allows us to move faster without relying on external developers.”
Short lines create a streamlined collaboration
Rob does not adopt solutions lightly. He takes a critical look at what can be improved and regularly submits new feature requests. What he values in the collaboration with AddComm is that his feedback is genuinely taken seriously. “They appreciate my input and act quickly on issues. That is essential for me.” The human aspect also plays an important role. “With other suppliers, I often hit a wall. With AddComm, I experience short lines of communication and a real willingness to listen, even when I am critical.”
More control over customer communication and security
The transition from legacy tooling to Flowize was carried out step by step, together with AddComm. Qander is now in the process of phasing out all legacy systems and further future-proofing its software landscape. Security and control are essential elements in this new way of working. “Within Flowize, we have built in safeguards that automatically pause processes if an error is detected in the flow. In the past, we had to correct this manually afterwards. Now, users are informed immediately before customers are affected, and our team needs to intervene far less often.”
Automating processes at scale
The experience with Flowize has been so positive that Qander now wants to connect other entities within the parent company as well. “We want to take the platform to the next level and use it across the entire group,” says Rob. “In fact, we are only just beginning to explore what Flowize can do for our organisation.”
