Secure email without extra steps: AddComm and SecuMailer strengthen modern customer communication

Organisations process large volumes of confidential information every day. That is exactly why secure email should not be a standalone tool, but a natural part of the communication process. AddComm and SecuMailer, an EU Qualified Trust Service Provider, have fully aligned their technologies, enabling organisations to send secure email within the same flow as their regular communication.

Secure email as part of the Flowize flow

Within Flowize, SecuMailer is integrated as a secure delivery channel. Documents that are traditionally sent by registered mail, such as agreements, policies, contract changes or payment arrangements, can now be sent securely by email directly from a Flowize workflow.
Recipients receive the document straight in their inbox, without complex portals, passwords or additional steps.

“Our technology ensures organisations meet the strictest requirements for encryption and authentication,” says Paul Scheper, Manager Operations at SecuMailer. “At the same time, we keep the experience as simple as possible for the user.”
For organisations, this means automatic compliance without friction for either sender or recipient.

Pilot shows secure email as a future-proof alternative to registered mail

In a real-world pilot, secure email was used as a fully fledged alternative to physical registered mail. More than 800 documents were sent securely via Flowize, fully traceable and in line with information security requirements.

“With physical registered mail, you know it has been delivered, but you do not know whether the right person actually opens or reads it,” explains Mona Ignacia, Partner Manager at AddComm. “Secure email gives you both certainty and insight. SecuMailer’s solution matched this need perfectly.”

The benefits were clear. The same legal validity, additional insight into delivery and opening, and significant cost savings. Secure email is considerably more cost-effective than physical registered mail, especially at scale.

One shared standard for secure customer communication

AddComm and SecuMailer have been working together for some time, but their shared vision on simplicity, security and reliability has further strengthened the partnership.

“What makes the collaboration work so well is the short lines of communication,” says Paul. “We speak the same language, which allows us to move quickly and really make progress.”

The goal is clear: secure email as a standard option within Flowize, allowing organisations to choose per message between regular or secure email, fully integrated within the same flow.

Curious how to use secure email with less effort and significantly lower costs?

We would be happy to show you what this looks like within your Flowize environment.
